About

We practise in São Paulo and Porto. Both founding partners are admitted to the Brazilian Bar Association (OAB) and the Portuguese Bar Association (Ordem dos Advogados), and every matter is handled directly by one of them, from the initial advice through the handling of the matter.

We advise Brazilian companies operating in Portugal and across Europe, European companies doing business in Brazil, and small and medium-sized enterprises on contracts, shareholder disputes and judicial reorganisation proceedings, acting for debtors and creditors alike. We have appeared before the Portuguese courts since 2021, and we also coordinate matters in Italy, Belgium and Austria.

Do you act for companies outside São Paulo?

Yes. We act for companies throughout Brazil. Meetings and follow-up can be conducted remotely.

How does your practice in Portugal work?

We have had an office in Porto since 2021. Both partners are admitted to the Portuguese Bar Association and appear directly before the Portuguese courts, in corporate advisory work and commercial litigation. We also coordinate matters in other European countries, such as Italy, Belgium and Austria.

Do you work in English?

Yes. We work in Portuguese, English, Spanish and French.

Can the first meeting be held online?

Yes. The initial meeting can be held by video call or in person in São Paulo or Porto.

Do you represent creditors in judicial reorganisation proceedings?

Yes. We represent creditors as well as debtor companies, in judicial and out-of-court reorganisations and bankruptcy proceedings.

Do you offer ongoing counsel on a monthly fee basis?

Yes. For companies with recurring needs, we offer monthly counsel with a scope defined by contract.
